GENERAL AMAZONAS MAGAZINE CONTEST RULES

Entry in any contest run by AMAZONAS Magazine / Aquatic Media Press constitutes agreement to the general terms outlined herein:

• Contests are supposed to be fun. We administer them fairly, and even-handedly. Don’t be a jerk about things! Apply common sense and have FUN!
• Participants release any and all related social media platforms (for example, but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, etc…) from any responsibility, and any contest we run is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with, these platforms.
  
• Entry into any contest constitutes your agreement to the use of your name and likeness for promotional purposes specifically related to the contest. That said, we really can’t foresee this being something we’d do, but we might as well just put it out there now.
• We may require personal information as part of contest entries or to facilitate the delivery of prizes. See our Privacy Policy for further information regarding how we treat personal data. Note, failure to provide the required information may result in forfeiture of prizes (e.g. if you don’t give us your shipping info, we can’t ship things to you, and so we’ll have to pick someone else!)
• Unless otherwise stated, our contests are open to everyone except contributors, advertisers, and staff of AMAZONAS Magazine, Aquatic Media Press, along with employees of any relevant partner companies, their subsidiaries, as well as the immediate families of all the aforementioned.
• Contests may be geographically restricted or may offer differing prizes depending on the physical location of the winners.
• Additional rules and requirements for participation and entry may be stated within general contest announcements.
• Contests are only available to individuals over the age of 18 and in locations where entry is legally permitted. Entrants are responsible for complying with all relevant local laws.
• If a winner is deemed ineligible to receive a prize, that entry will be disqualified, and a new winner will be selected.
• Any and all applicable taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner(s).
• Our contests are free to enter and participate in, unless otherwise stated.
• All decisions rendered by Aquatic Media Staff are final. Remember, we’re all here to enjoy the aquarium hobby and to have fun, not to get worked up over a small promotional prize or something. So, play fair, have fun, celebrate whoever wins, and enjoy your fish!
